Mike Koenig-President

Mike founded Mike Koenig Construction CO. Inc. in 1981 with a few employees doing small projects and remodeling jobs. Since then he has grown the company to include a concrete and masonry crew, several carpentry crews and a steel erecting crew. Mike Koenig Construction now completes a wide variety of projects ranging from small to multi-million dollar facilities. As President of Mike Koenig Construction, Mike is responsible for overall company operations as well as estimating and Project Management. He strives to make sure that as a customer of Mike Koenig Construction you will receive the best project experience possible as well as the highest quality finished product available.

Pete Schmoll-Project Manager/Estimator

Pete’s background in construction goes back over 18 years and he has been a Project Manager for 11 years in the commercial, industrial, residential and agricultural fields. As a Project Manager he is responsible for all aspects of the project including customer relations, project budgets, scheduling, quality control, safety, subcontractor selection and contracting. He has a bachelor’s degree in construction management from UW Stout. His years in the industry have helped him develop a passion for construction industry have given a well-rounded knowledge of many types of construction.

Don Maas-Project Manager/Estimator

Don comes to Mike Koenig Construction with over 38 years in the construction industry. He previously owned his own business for many years and worked in many positions to accommodate the company’s needs. These positions ranged from timekeeper to project manager, controller, estimator and others. This wide range of experience has given him vast knowledge of the construction industry. This experience as well as maintaining excellent communication helps him to manage projects, keep costs to a minimum and meet customers’ needs.
